In
this nook of Patagonia, two craftswomen devote themselves, with their
wit and imagination, to the making of unique, hand woven with two needles
costumes.
They use natural sheep wool, hand threaded and dyed with natural elements
such as roots, leaves, fruit, etc..
Some costumes are lined with delicate embroideries, fine terminations
in leather or chamois leather and wooden buttons or deer horns.
Duhuen:
Mapuche term meaning to knit with wool.
